I have a sneaky suspicion I may have outgrown these type of books.

Today I learned that shoes which show toe cleavage have been deliberately designed to do this. I always thought they were poorly made.

Today I learned that handbag dogs were already a thing in the early 70s.

Today I learned that the term 'white trash' was already a thing in the 19th century.

Handy handbag sized. Puzzles are good. Was expecting them to be super easy, some are but others are at a more challenging level and fun.

Ordered by mistake. I had wanted to read the book of the same title by Liu Cixin, instead this turned up. Oh well, i do not mind the occasional detective story so am giving it a go, now that I have it..

Only half a page in this is already promising to be much better than the previous book. Phiew.

One thing that this book seems to have predicted accurately is that now a days, for some reason i haven't yet figured out, people want short chapters .  Not to condense the material, mind you, just to have shorter chapters.  Text longwinded and repetitive? Yea fine, just make sure you cut it up in as many chapters as possible. 😞

In the proces of cleaning my bookshelves and doing more reading than cleaning. This one, for some reason, was amoung my pile of self-help books that i seem to have accumulated but rarely read during more heavily medicated times...

Got this to get a feel of other forgotten realms writers. 4 stories in Ed Greenwood looks promising, Christie Golden is a definite no and the other two are somewhere inbetween.

Got this as i wanted to see what other forgotten releams writers get up to. So far i have only read Salvatore.
