I like the subject, but struggling to get through it. Maybe recommend as a new believer/seekers group study book. Marking as DNF.

The difference between the right and wrong motive for doing good deeds is *so that* versus *because*. If you’re doing good deeds…*so that* God will accept you…then you’ve made your journey with Christ about yourself. But when you do all of these things *because* Jesus saved you, *because* He is your Savior, and *because* He lives inside of you, then you will effectively steer clear of the performance path.

It takes 10 chapters for it to occur to this modern detective that the person whose body she's in might now being her body. She's not a very good detective, I think. This is just one of many little instances like this.

Cute and clever. If I was 10 or 12, would have been right up my alley. As an adult, the pacing is just to slow for me. Love the illustrations. Skimmed to the end and dnf-ing.
