So far this book lacks a lot of detailing.
Like why does the MMC like our female lead & vice versa is not clear.
He says & I quote "the past few months have been a shit show" there is a lot of telling around the CEO vote, not much has been shown for the reader to consider Kai's actual struggles.

"There was a story there, but extracting blood from stone would be easier than getting that story out of him tonight."

So far, the narrative holds promise, but the writing lacks vigor, falling into a pattern of predictability. Injecting energy and creativity can elevate the storyline, making it more engaging and compelling for the audience.
