SHUSH!!

I think I’m too cynical to read a book this cute. Life has clearly hurt me too much

Omg, where is this going! That was very upsetting, and I cannot imagine where this is going now

So cute!

This protagonist is the WORST. If one of the characters is murdered, I wouldn’t be sad if it’s him!! He’s the worst

Glad I went with the audiobook on this one. Each letter is in the voice of the specific author. It’s a good one!

I guess we all grieve differently, but ummmmm and yikessss

This went from super cute to massively unhealthy and I’m shaking my head a smart sensible protagonist would act like such an idiot. If she acknowledged what a dummy she’s being that would at least help, but so far she’s not, and we have yet another female protagonist who is in love with a man who treats her like garbage. Hoorayyyyyy

This is starting off strong

Which goes back to rule No 1. Be careful who you’re nice to. Because if you are nice to the wrong person, they’ll either take advantage of you, or worse, they might never leave.

When does this get good?? The rating is amazing but so far I’ve read this exact story many many times before

Everything worth doing is accompanied by fear

“They hate us,” Periwinkle said. “We’re loathed and despised in every time, in every country, in every culture….you know why they say all this?”
“Because you’re witches?” Fern asked.
“Because we’re women,” periwinkle said.

“Would you prefer me be ashamed?” She asked. “My appearance is the least of my qualities.”

“You’ll look like this one day,” she said. “They hate us enough. Don’t hate yourselves too.”
