I have never before been so interested in mythology and I kinda love the merging of ancient gods into modern society in this way, especially the references to the mythologies other than Greek.

I've had to take a break... I was getting bored.

Took a little while to get into it but its warming up now.

I'm so excited for this!

I think I might have to give this book a break for a while because if Luther goes "preternaturally still" one more freaking time I might scream.

Urgh, Diem... Seriously.

How are we supposed to believe that she is simultaneously so freaking naive and illogical, yet apparently so good at survival and combat? It doesn't gel for me. This book needed some serious editing - it is so overwritten - we don't need pages and pages of hints about what is happening... unlike Diem, we got it from the first paragraph about it.

I usually hate books written from more than 2 perspectives but I'll make an allowance for this one.

My God Fallon is such an idiot. I usually hate books with silly female protagonists, and Fallon is right up there.... but I am really loving the world and pretty much all the other characters.

I so want the story to match the name, the cover and the concept... so far I'm not convinced it will.

Honestly, struggling to keep up with the heavy character building. So much describing, very little happening.

So far, not sure if I'm loving jumping back and forth between times. I know, I know. It is supposed to build intrigue. Otherwise, enjoying it.

Started last night, only stopped because I had to sleep to be able to go be an Ambulance Girl today. SO GOOD

So I bought this to read on my two flights from Melbourne to my middle of nowhere home and for this first time ever I wish they were longer. Will have to wait until I get home and hurriedly unpack so I can keep reading!

Haven't finished reading this, probably never will. Thoroughly bored by the stereotyping and generalised statements that add no validity or meaning to the statements the author is trying to make. Can't even remember where I was up to - that says a lot to me.
