Girl calm being kidnapped, in this book, and getting out of it thanks to all the romance she read! This author is definitely online.

"Flesh palace" . . . That's a phrase

I may not be big into social media, so maybe I'm off base. But the "main character" persona the people give off with an exaggerated sense of self importance, that is what I am getting from Joonie. Every one has bad dates, but the comparison of every guy to Ryke a lot. And how she isn't late by perisan standard time. Yeah girl, you're not there.

And no she isn't delusional, but she certainly is obsessive!

Author repeated almost the exact wording about inking the Minor arcana. Good reminder, but it's almost exact and just something that stood out.

The author chose to use Gaelic. Why??? After the Fourth Wing debacle. The author did include pronunciations and a note for the reader regarding pronunciations, but still. Nothing in the synopsis gives the impression of Scottish influence.

The author was able to make a beautiful and heart-wrenching scene with the infant sons while simultaneously ruining it with Knox trying to make Aria horny at the funeral. Totally unnecessary. She wants them to have sex now, then do it after the kids have been blessed, not during the funeral.

The world building around the creation of the council and nine realms is being repeated almost verbatim from the first part of the book. Completely unnecessary.

This book is contradicting itself repeatedly. It confuses the story, but it reads similar to a Dreame/online novel. It's still readable, just confusing on details like Aria's birth placement amongst the possible 9 sets of twins.

Pretty obvious where the story is headed romantically. But the world is really interesting.

What the fuck just happened?! I just spent 300 pages thinking Rafe was the Assassin and Kaden was the Prince. What the hell did I miss?! I even went back a couple chapters and I don't see how I fucked this assumption this bad.
