Great book that covers the scenes of the already incredible game...HOWEVER
The unnecessary backstory is boring and filler. The flashbacks take away from the suspense

this is one of those books you finish because you bought it thinking it would be good and don't want to waste your money

This book is a slog, there is nothing redeeming about it.
Characters are all unlikable and uninteresting
The "twist" is obvious and the reasons are pathetic and immature
This book definitely makes for a better movie because it makes for a dull book

I don't know why but this is such an unsettling book, far scarier than King or Blatty. The author does such a horrifying and great way of feeling like you are trapped in the killers head...and its dark!
