Why does the main character sound like a whiny 15 year old girl.
I’m too old for this shit

I have a visceral reaction of hate for our FMC.

Second our FMC is talking about our MC like he is a lost puppy who has been trailing her tail since they were kids

Thirdly - fat shaming both internal and external.

I’m struggling to give this book a chance.

First we are talking about our contraceptive implant that we are getting in the coming weeks and not deleting an alarm for our birth control pill because it feels strange to delete it.

Um - you don’t stop taking/delete notification of your pill until you have started the next contraceptive. So already we are set up for an ‘accidental’ pregnancy cause she is a moron

I dislike the heroine
I dislike the hero
I dislike their relationship

I’m only reading to find out more about the Silver Palm and how it ends

I’ve been enjoying this series until now.

I hate a storyline that the heroine wants something and the hero demands her body as payment. In this case she wants his help finding her nephew and he will help as long as he gets her in his bed.

This is sexual coercion and is not sexy.

Gee I’m so going to fucking gag.

I see our author is stomping down the misogynistic ‘other woman are bitches, our heroine is the only good one’ path.

Is our heroine a masochist?

Her love for the hero grew and grew as his anger widened the distance between them?

What the actual fuck.

I don’t read reviews before a book but I’m having a hard time with Ghostly Game and decided to see if my favourite series new book is going to hit the spot.

Imagine my surprise when the reviews are detailing child rape. Worse, the book has no trigger warning.

I feel like I’m missing something. Like I’ve started this book half way through and missed the character building.
Although I’ve never really felt a connection with Team 3. It’s like they have been add ins and stuck here to just create more books, not actually fill a storyline

Did someone else write this chapter cause the overuse of the term “Sweet Cheeks” is a-fucking-nnoying

Stacey’s attitude sure has me smiling.

I’ve tried to read this book twice now and neither time have I gone further than chapter 1.

Something about the way adult Thomas views 16 year old Aiden sets my skin crawling.

I’m going to have to go back and check - but I’m sure the first books talks up how they have to find their mate and yet this one says they are rare.

Ah fuck I didn’t like the first one enough to reread it. And this MCs internal dialogue is boring as bat shit

I was already on the fence about this one. It’s going to need some serious comeback for me to even drag myself through it

I picked this up again but I’m really not liking Dean, his attitude rubs me the wrong way. His talk and attitude towards cheating on his wife is pissing me off and her email laying the blame at her own feet is pissing me off.


I’m really not sure I want to continue which is a shame as I believe this guy has a story that needs to be heard but I dislike him

A boring trip down memory lane.

What a boring fucking chapter.
No connection to characters and their conversation didn’t feel natural

I’ve been reading this for 2 months. A few pages at a time as neither character hold my interest and I’m bored of tiptoeing around his plan that I can not be bothered.

This was an alright series but I think I’m over it

So we have just reduced every woman in the bar as airheads who only want to sleep with a man for his good looks…..not just one or two….every woman


I have a bad feeling about this series

I keep avoiding this as I know the ending…I want to immerse myself but can’t bring myself to open it

It has been on my currently reading pile for more than a month and I haven’t even opened it.

I’m bored out of my brain.
The premise is good but the story is dull and the conversations feel unnatural and mundane. There is a small hint of sexual tension but can’t feel any of it through the pages.

Sweet start to the story, but feeling like I am missing something previous. Going to go and see if there was a series before this before continuing.

I was enjoying it but it’s now slipped into TSTLville.

Our detective hates that her gender is used against her and people believe she slept her way to the top. Yet she is doing exactly that….It went downhill fast

Did we skip something?

We went from pinning the tiger down to suddenly it’s all over and her lesson is learnt

If you are going to put a bitch fight in - put a damn bitch fight in not skip over it
