A refreshing approach towards programming and CS. It reminds me a lot of the way in which some Haskell texts are written.
After finishing this I might go ahead and read The Little Schemer. I've come to terms with the idea of becoming a Theoretical Computer Science/ Functional Programming nerd, and I'm just starting.

I believe twitter is one of the great tragedies of our time. How else might I have had such a dislike towards this author? Taleb seems to be insufferable, but his insights are invaluable.
I do have some modest statistical training but even for an amateur, such as myself, the way in which Taleb exposes his point has changed a lot in regards of how I see science and everything build upon statistical correlation.

I got this far a few weeks ago in a moment of leisure, but due to work and my other readings I might as well open a space, and read the whole thing in one sitting.
For what I've read, I'm liking it. I do not know why yet, and I suspect I'll find out only after reading it from start to finish.

For what I've read, I'm liking it. I do not know why yet, and I suspect I'll find out only after reading it completely.
