The prose is much better than the first book but I don’t think Roth’s managed to make the Knights acceptable so far. Dimitri goes on and on about how despite everything he loves them yet whenever they open their mouths they sound like a klan rally. It doesn’t feel intentional either. Maybe more pages would’ve helped?

The prose has greatly improved since the first book, but I feel like Roth is struggling to make the Knights likeable. Dimitri goes on about how they’re family and despite everything he still loves them but every time they open their mouths they sound like semi-misogynistic klan members.

I like the sex scenes but I feel like they’re slowing down the book. The pacing hasn’t felt tight since Thornby and Blake got together.

Their dynamic is still really enjoyable though so I can’t wait to see what happens next!

It’s getting hot and heated and I’m loving every second of it!

The worldbuilding is so cool!!! And I love Thornby and Blake together, I can’t wait to see where this goes!
