this one does not join the 2 together as i thought it might. i thought she was going to be the "guy in the chair" to his spy, but that is not how they connected, they literary met once and were stuck together for a week b/c snow

She is a little crazy, and not in a good way, I'm not overly fond of her crazy stories, but I guess she is a writer, but that story she told to her boss about how they met was over the top as were all the stories she came up with when just talking to him, not sure why she always put him in an embarrassing situation.

And she is not aggressive or sassy, but something like it

I was expecting a different outcome for her mom

She makes a comment about catching an uber to get home and he chuckles a bit at her b/c there is no uber. BUT she is from a small town that would also NOT have uber as an option, so why did she even think the idea, and why is she surprised that uber is not an option??

too much, fighting the relationship and them pushing each other away. not a fan. Stefan needs to get over his fear and just jump in,

I roll my eyes every time she uses the phrase "horse jumping" a true rider would not call it that

So she is back in the states, the story goes from her passing per the stones and then boom she is in Vermont. we don't know how much time passed in her time while she was not in her time, there are no comments about it even with her sister, they talk like it never happened, so wtf happened?

The 2 characters are at an impasse and I don't see any way around it. She loves him but doesn't want to stay and she wants to go home and knows he can't/won't follow. And he can't trust her b/c of her last name and is not willing to get past that, and feels like she lied to him at every turn even though she was keeping herself safe. Sooo, what happens now??

*eye roll* really she is a healer and has to put a dislocated shoulder back into place? A bit derivative. And I have issues with the fact that she actually has close family and time traveled and prob won't be back or if she does then leaves her new life

This is better than I thought it would be, I'm liking Devyn a bit more. The baddie is not at all who I thought it would be and the story is more interesting for that. I am loving Lucky, I love how straight forward he is, in both his conversations with G and D. Love the addition of the pets. Liking the slow burn as well

I've not really been interested in starting this one, For whatever reason, Devyn has not been an interesting side character to me up to this point. I do like Lucky. I'm sure the story will be good and I hope that Devyn grows on me.

another mention of Mnt Merics and Silverstone, but who is Rollins? a navy seal who lives in HI, not heard of him before

I like the scene with Mustang and Aleck after they find her and them talking about M figuring out what is going on and A pressing him to move faster b/c A likes her (but not in that way). I like that the team knows and is worried about her and all they want to do is fix it, and that he is frustrated that they have to wait til monday

LOVE LOVE LOVE the scene of them at the Taggart's. I like seeing D hanging out with the older main female MC and L with the kids and Boomer with Alex and Ian. Love all the talk and discussion. Love the scene with the kids and the rope and Tag's parenting technique, and him trading info for allowance. So many good references in this scene as well

He gave her the last egg roll, that might be the most romantic thing. B/c he has to look out for "his girl"

This is slow and a bit disjointed, would be better read as you are reading book one at the same time

That scene at the restaurant, once they actually start to hookup is a little cheesy, especially all of the words Scarlet says, if she had just kept her mouth shut during that interaction it would have been fine, but all of her "he's f-ing me" "Do you see" were on the cringey side

She FINALLY tells him about the baby b/c she is FORCED to, I really don't think it would have happened any other way, she would have had a belly and gone into labor and hid until that kid was 8 y/o before she would have told him. SOOOOO frustrating. anyways I have 1hr, 22min left in the book by the time she tells him

Angst fest, too many characters, Fran spends WAY too much time with other people. Normally I like there to be more to the story, but the main couple barely spend time together. Her heart is hard and doesn't want a guy, his is damaged and doesn't want permanent. Not sure how these two are actually going to end up together, b/c they don't want to be together, and she still has not told him about the baby

There are a lot of side stories with the minor characters that I feel like I've missed something, CeCe and now doing the Pritty Woman thing with a client, and then Brogan, who has not had much in the story but I'm sure will have some sort of large side quest as well. It is just too much for this basically standalone to hold and do well

I really liked the start of this, how they met and their first time, but after that the story has slowed down, they are more apart than they are together, there is a LOT of past ex drama for both of them, and a lot of back story on both that is being given in drips and drabs, but just on them and not on their exes who keep showing up. So at this point it is not a very fun read

Lex gives Adam the rainbow moon stone that coach garfuncle gave him (check on that stone). Katlin and Maggie seem to be friends in this story, Katlin got wasted drunk, was that her normal MO?
