A very nice introduction to Temple Grandin. Super non-fiction title for readers.

I may or may not have this book. I can't remember if I was supposed to share or not. . .but this is what the cover would look like if I did have it.

George Ella Lyon recommended this collection that comes from a nurse/poet and becomes a personal and poignant view of the human condition through the caregiver's lens. As a former caregiver married to a caregiver, I have a feeling this is one poetry collection we can share and talk about together.

Familiar Mother Goose rhymes take a darker turn thanks to some of best and brightest in today's young adult literature.

George Ellicott's gift to Benjamin Banneker--books, a table, and some tools of the trade. Pinkney's book reminds me of what we offer to our students in the room. I like that Andrea Davis Pinkney shares the "whole" of the person being celebrated so far in the book. Hopes, dreams, interests as well as lasting legacy. A nice book so far.

Think ONE CRAZY SUMMER mixed in with ESPERANZA RISING.
