FINALLY we get to the point. The real point.

You can’t teach people to be queer. They just are, and that presents in just as many ways as straight people present. Gender, sexuality, it’s all so fluid that there isn’t and shouldn’t be “one real way” to be queer. And that’s GOOD actually.

I didn’t think the book would get here until way closer to the last chapter. A nice surprise!

Slow progression, but good progression in the plot.

Not sure if this is neurodivergent or gay culture. Cus… ehhhhhhh. Don’t like it being “taught” but still here I guess.

Not loving the “there’s a right way to sit wrong/like a gay” thing. But whatever.

I’m very glad for Scott here. It didn’t go like I expected, but I’m really happy about that.

Oh poor sweetheart. I get why, but I hate that she wasn’t believed to be serious here.

Oh my gosh. A book that actually uses spoons and stimming as casual terms. Love the voice in this book already.

Really like the characters and how this is ending up, how this is wrapping up. :3

Love how the demon horror story is coming along, and the tangled web of faith with queerness.

Finally more mentions of the books namesake! It feels like we should be there already or something, but once again the characters avoid this place for the sake of finding more information about it.

It’s getting good, but I thought this would be the location that more of the book would be set in, not just talked around and around in circles.

Not exactly sure what’s going on in this scene. I understand the fire and the demon, but kinda confused about this scene beyond the ambulance.

I’m sorry, this man is in the field of psychology and he is DISAPPOINTED IN HIS PATIENT for seeing shit that isn’t there because it happened to be in a closet?!?
