Yep, this is definitely going down White Witch Narnia paths… and I love it!

Oooh things are starting to get interesting. The Dowager is giving off Narnia White Witch vibes with Curtis’ meeting…

I’m frustrated with the main character. I know that we are supposed to be. Just wish we didn’t have to be.

The tarot element is interesting, still.

Never mind. I needed to listen for two more sentences lol. I mean, fair reasoning with Pamela Smith being the one to do the iconic art. Still abnormal ordering though.

Interesting so far. Already interesting that a RWS deck is called “Smith Rider-Waite”. It’s not a name order I see often. I wonder what the reasoning for this order of surnames is?

I don’t think I’ve ever heard or thought about the sound of pen against paper as a “whine?” It stands out in a bit of a strange way.

Can’t stop thinking about this line for the past few minutes. I get what it’s getting at, though. It just makes me think of a pen in a more electronic way, strangely.

Interesting how this next person is taken out. I’m surprised there wasn’t more investigation for handwriting, like they all just took one another at their words? It seems like a bit of a hole to me?

The Dolly Parton reference strikes hard these days.

Interesting characters so far! I love the dynamic between Peter and Lauren so far!

Ok. We finally get to the title. I understand her power, but I’m not sure I like it.

Also don’t love how we paused the story to walk the reader through all the hints laid down through the story. I’m not a child who needs to be held by the hand. If you had told me that she thought back about what had happened, dots could have been connected on my own.

Gonna be honest, I really like this, but I do find it just a tad hard to keep track of the characters…

It’s not enough for me to stop reading, but it is hindering how fast I’m getting through this story.

Ok. So Fluffy Jr. is the companion. There’s gonna be more to this… at some point, right?
