"I'm always reading a book that's missing the most important page" ooof right in the heart

Was just the slightest bit nervous that the reread of the chariot race would not hold up.

BUT GET WRECKED THAT CHAPTER IS SO SO GOOD I HAVE TRANSCENDED

Eventually, morning came. Morning always comes. There are always losses in the night, a price paid for light.

"I think you are ready for a state change"

"and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage."

Wow

Listen folks I am loving this book however I must speak my truth that "Rose of Sharon Joad" is the dumbest name any author has ever written

"Pray God some day kind folk won't all be poor. Pray God that someday a kid can eat."

"All of which suggests ,” I continued, “that if you listen to metal, you’re probably into bands like Underoath or Skillet.”

Who, and I cannot stress this enough, the fuck, has ever called Skillet a metal band before this moment.

This is how I imagine an alien would describe the reasons for liking metal

Ready Player One for metalheads (said with the utmost disdain)

Do they think that if they keep mentioning enough metal band shirts the characters are wearing, I will forgive how awful this overall experience is?

This is the dullest book I ever read

F is for friends who do stuff together, U is for U and me....

Onion chopping, at this hour?!

Don Winslow never met a scene he couldn't add in some sex

Power to the proletariat

When I grow up, I want to be as cool as Large Marge

First this series had Mermen riding Orcas. Now, speaking directly into my heart, the series adds Samurai riding bull whales

IS THERE NO TRUE KNIGHTS AMONG YOU

Excuse me but what the fuck

Guys I refuse to believe that Martin and Abraham had anything to do with this. I refuse.

I genuinely hate every page of this

My brothers, my sisters, my blood. Hear me

This book fucking sucks so far

Just some light, breezy reading to wind the day down

Oh okay

It is a testament to GGK's awesome skills that I have not read any of this book for 8 months, and had zero problem getting back into it.

Book good

Audio reread by Lucius Malfoy, let's gooo

I am ready to be hurt again

What is with the fucking lembas bread? It makes me so angry for some reason. Why does this book literally have lembas bread

Take a picture, trick, I'm on a boat, bitch

Hey, uh....has anyone ever considered. Maybe Rebecca Kuang has a problem with academia?

20 pages in and I've already cried and burst out in laughter. Maybe I'm not cut out for this
