This was a insta buy. I really love the author and the slow burns he builds. It was different to start the book with a insta love story but like, he had me in the first half, not gonna lie. Then I looked, and I realized that I still had over a half of the book to go and knew that he was going to work his magic. And he did. I love the details and the second chance aspect and no production out the guys being virgins.

Love this story so far. I adore slow burns that give the characters time to get to know each other. Also love that M’s internal voice is actually reflecting the fact that he is an adult over 30

Interesting so far. But like...they sent a 17( ? Idk he reads as very young to me and I cringe to think he is younger then 17) yr old kid with no battle skills to the front lines and think...absolutely nothing bad will happen? Oy. I mean I know they want to test his skills but is this the time? Also, I hope sex doesn’t happen. The way it was framed gets my back up so I won’t be able to enjoy it if it happens

So anyone else get anxiety from waiting for Seb to let Tate know about the stuff with Alan...?

So for anyone who is about to read this...trigger warning for a brief mention of a dog dying at the very beginning. Wish there was a warning at the start. This was stuck in my head all day and upset me and completely ruined any feelings I could’ve gained for the murderer. It’s a very very small scene but made me cringe so hard.

So I’m about half way through and the way they talk about books...man same. I have been an avid reader all my life and I love that that is their treasure because it’s mine too. This immediately endured me to this book.

I just started this book but I love it! It makes me laugh and feel all giddy :)

So...I'll admit it... the part where mike realizes that Tom likes him just got to me. It's the first time Tom has said "I'm gay" in 25 years...I'm so dang proud of him it makes me cry. This is a 5 star book thus far.

Geez Tancred breaks my heart. I just want to wrap him in a bubble and protect him from being hurt ever again. He's suffered so much and I want him to end this series being happy

DNF for now. May try to read again

I'm almost completely done reading this book (and man it's probably a 5 star unless the end ruins it) but the hardest part was Aric becoming Brute again. Oh precious baby

I'm on chapter 24...omg I do not have words for how much I love this story: Everything is on point, I love it. The sex scene on the boat is probably one of my top favorite scenes.

I tried to read it and it started off strong but certain things just rubbed me the wrong way (like I did not like the Het-boy thing...it pissed me off) and I dunno. And then I found myself skimming......It's a DNF right now but I believe in second chances so I'll try again at one point.

So. I'm about halfway through the book and so far what I've read has just like been amazing..... and heartbreaking....and like true to Amy Lane. Plus I can relate, like I was the anime nerd in school and there's other things I can sympathize with

Halfway through and I'm so into this book. I love it! I love the characters and I usually don't care for politics and stuff but it just worked for this book.

Okay so I'm about halfway through. I like that the book takes time to explain things...like cleaning the gun. Loved it. I love the raw emotion. I can understand why Keegan did what he did with the antenna and how he is terrified of losing August so he's clingy. Dislikes: Sex scenes. Not for me. Also...freaking Keegan and the antenna. And his protectiveness drives me crazy!

So I'm almost done with this book and I like it. Mostly. I like Perry but Nick's absolute dismissal of Perry and then the snap judgement he makes about him rubs me the wrong way. Geez just because he is young doesn't mean he doesn't know anything. It saved by the fact that Perry keeps surprising Nick. He'd be great to throw ideas off of as a PI.

So far I'm loving this book because it definitely strikes a chord. I'm very into tumblr and twitch and the online community and I also sympathize with both men.

When I started this book it was completely different from my expectations. And it moved pretty fast. Despite its major flaws there were some really really good lines.

Okay now that I finished it and Eve showed her backbone and made moves of pure defiance, I started to like it much more. By the end I enjoyed it!

I liked it at first. When Wulf talked to Aidan about bringing Eve to London I really liked that he was not ashamed of her he was just respecting her wishes to leave her be. But when Aidan sees Eve in the office and said he does command his wife, I lost it. It pissed me off. And when they fought, instead of apologizing they have sex. I am so unhappy! Also Aidan's family were so rude to Eve and classist.
