this book has FOOTNOTES!! i love footnotes, they remind me of the Bartimaeus Trilogy which was one of my favorite series when i was a young teen. This book also features a human/demon relationship (another key feature of Bartimaeus Trilogy) and I am sooo seated.

I picked this up bc it's set in Savannah and I love Savannah but I'm about to put it down because for a grown ass woman, the MC is infuriatingly stupid and it's starting to really irritate me.
