Next up on deck for the summer TBR challenge.

This has been in a bag of books someone gave to me quite a number of years ago. I made this part of my TBR challenge for the summer. But I'm not sure its a story I look forward to.

I learned what a reddleman was & how sheep were marked to identify whom they belonged to.

I love the lush, poetic writing of Hardy. I aways feel that the landscape or local nature is another character in his novels.

The Hardy group read. One chapter a day. Looking forward to reading this and all the commentary by the group!!

I have just been dipping into this periodically.

My July IRL book club selection. Worried I won't have it done in time, didn't realize it was over 500pp!!

My IRL book club June selection. I'm engaged.

I rolled my eyes at the revealing of one of the secrets. Really?? Did the author really need to make the rapist that particular personage? Does it propel the story forward?
