Completed Exodus ch 23. This makes 1/16th of the entire copy finished — put this way, the 1600 pages seem so simple to surmount without any trepidation

Finish Genesis 1. No Glühwein required for the same amount of edification and „tunneling“. Circa one hour and twenty minutes for pg 57-69, making it just 12 pages, but with great focus and highlighting and examination to make sure I comprehend everything.

OT pages 29-56 in around 3-4 hours while inebriated on Glühwein & highlighting and taking notes; c. 20 minute break in-between. Finish Genesis 41. Every time I finished a chapter or a section I took a swig and looked up at the most beautiful nude drawing I've seen in order to create positive reinforcement.

The chapters taking place in the 20th century are far more intelligible than the 3000 AD ones. There's well written and gripping parts, but it's way too mangled
