Alright, i guessed the first major plot twist pretty easily with the crown. Can't get a feel on Maria's personality. Loving the new Lara. Having a good time overall!!

So simple and poetic yet so beautiful. Not my typical kind of read but i'm enjoying it so far

I feel like the beginning of the book is a bit more slow / the overall plot is less compelling. But i'm glad we don't need as much worldbuilding. Am excited for some major changes in the characters' actions toward Amari 👀

Trials weren't really long and exciting enough for me. But i'm having a good time overall :)

How has it only been 5%? I've been listening to this audiobook for a long while already, hahaha. Enjoying it thus far, excited to see what will happen...

Kinda bored but narrator is calming so I keep putting it on

I’m too close to the subject matter. Proves to me I can’t really read books about academia without cringing.

Alright so far. Missed the part where he accidentally kills someone and I don’t want to rewind so Wikipedia told me that part.

Am really enjoying this so far. I like the main character’s personality, am excited to learn more about the world/magic aspects but don’t mind that the MC doesn’t want anything to do with magic. Not too boring or slow paced yet, plot is somewhat moving along.

Currently my third attempt to read this book. Got the audiobook. Vastly more boring than the first two books. Am slogging through the middle in order to finish the story started in the first two books.

Had no idea this book came out! Enjoying it a lot so far via audiobook as I wait to get my physical copy (I’m excited to see the physical drawings/pictures inside). Picks up where the last book left off. Another interesting start and Ix’s insecurities feel v realistic.

Damn, there is so much packed into this book. Pretty good pacing.

Updating progress on audio book reread from past 2 days or so. I finally see the complaints in narrator for Wylan. I had to make his 1.5 speed and then it was too fast for Matthias' POV at that speed (I like a slower audiobook lately). The Wylan narrator is also super annoying when he says Jesper's lines in a weird accent. Some of the narrators occasionally mispronounce Inej as Inez or Kaz. Anyway, story is good, obv

Reading via audiobook although I have the Waterstones Edition too.

Kinda boring so far, don't care for the setting, characters, or mix of Spanish/Hebrew within the writing. Considering DNFing again (last time I didn't get past the first chapter) but trudging on... not the first time I had to be bored before the story got better in a Leigh Bardugo book.
