I like Saunders’ take on the writing and editing process: just get a first draft down, and then the real work begins. That’s when intuition kicks in and you make those small, accumulated decisions that shape your piece into its fullest form. Applies just as much to art and life.

We've all heard this writing approach before but I think it's presented really well here.
