I mean WHAT an experience to read this book for the first time while listening to a new song from Harry Styles (for the first time in nearly four years) on repeat. Ascendant, I think.

Honest to god, if someone walked by my house and just heard me giggling as much as I am over every single little thing in this book, they’d have me committed.

It is a Herculean feat not to finish this tonight but I’m barely holding my eyes open and the ending of this book needs to be fully appreciated, so: tomorrow

The writing is so pretentious and also so stupid at the same time. It’s trying too hard and doing the opposite of what I’m sure the author actually intended to do

The further into this book I get the more it loses me. The spice felt pretty out of the blue and rushed and the conflict feels like the MMC inserted himself into her stuff where he didn’t belong and caused a conflict where there literally didn’t need to be one ??

Ok I really am enjoying this book but the timeline here has some mistakes that a lil bit of extra editing could fix. IE the FMC living with her friend for 1.5 years but she didn’t move in with her until her baby was born and the baby isnt a year old? Or the FMC telling the FMC the babys bday is next week but then he says it’s been 3 weeks since he’s seen FMC and he’s going to see her for the baby’s bday?

Don’t talk to me about how long it’s taking me to read this but know that in spite of that fact, I’m enjoying it
