What do you meaannnnn that’s such a clear and straightforward question. I’m getting increasingly annoyed

Idk team gotta be honest. “People always leave” (-Peyton Sawyer) doesn’t really hit when it’s followed by “I always pull away” right so the “people” you’re referring to is yourself, babes. And the flashbacks are sooo annoying and add so little to the plot which is sooooo drawn out by filler and redundancy and telling me not showing me

… maybe I need to stop reading Catherine Cowles for an extended period of time

Are we ever gonna find out why she hates hockey or is it going to be another random info bit that goes nowhere?

Oh my GOD he thinks he’s in LOVE with her and he doesn’t even know her LAST NAME?! Fuck off I hate these people

I feel I need to be transparent in that this has turned into a hate read. It didn’t start out that way, but it quickly devolved. It’s just soooo insta-lovey with forced chemistry and telling you instead of showing you and random medical jargon thrown in there bc don’t forget, she’s a nurse! (It has zero other impact on the story so far, btw) I hope it turns around, but for now, alas I’m annoyed

Prepare to see a lot of this from me in the coming weeks because I’ve been in such a slump and this book is rlly helping and also I have big plans to reread all of Off Campus and Briar U before the show comes out 🫡

I mean WHAT an experience to read this book for the first time while listening to a new song from Harry Styles (for the first time in nearly four years) on repeat. Ascendant, I think.

Honest to god, if someone walked by my house and just heard me giggling as much as I am over every single little thing in this book, they’d have me committed.
