okay i think im dnfing at page 166. 1) i like the characters, i dont love them. 2) the tension was lost with the time skip. 3) the world is not distinct enough from history for me to try and be invested in the story. 4) the random plot points that are thrown in (prison??? joan of arc????). i do want to return to guy gavriel kay’s writing, just not this book.
