Reading for work - new job! I’m now Head of Sixth Form - the VESPA model is really interesting as a mindset tool, looking to implement for students.

Enjoying this so far. Easy to listen to - would like to watch the film eventually.

Listening to the audiobook. Enjoying it - intrigued to see where the ending is going!

Have enjoyed this one - should finish it in time for a new reading month. An interesting look at the work of librarians - and the importance of our (UK) library system! I know that the library is a sanctuary for many - this is an honest account of the system and those that rely on it. Save our libraries!

This has me hooked. I already adore the characters, particularly Jory and Beth. I'm already on her side, and want the best outcome for everyone. Very well written, want to devour it but....kids!

Still enjoying this, it’s not like a ‘typical’ celebrity memoir. It covers and discusses lots of bigger topics in a really honest, intelligent way - impact of the media, fame, money etc.

Enjoying this one so far. Very honest. Interesting to read about things from Lily Allen’s perspective. Loved her music as a teenager! I’ve nodded along in agreement to a number of parts.

I’ve rolled my eyes at this so many times! I’m not far from the end now, about to start another section in the 50’s. It just doesn’t flow, doesn’t make sense and the characters are very one-dimensional.

Hmm. Have just finished the first section of Walter and Fawn's story (from the 1950's). It's a shame that this wasn't the main focus of the plot, switching forward to 'present' day, rather than the other way round. The writing is still very clunky.

Not sure on this so far. Clunky, not very well written. I’ve just got to the second love story, maybe things will pick up?
