Quite the grand and exacting quest to set for myself: I shall finish all 6 volumes of this series!

Remarkable book so far. Might be a new favourite + a 5 star if the quality holds

Just finished the introduction, and I'm pretty sure that this book is about to change my life

I'm not used to reading such long books as I'm still getting into reading, so it's taking me quite a lot of time. The book thankfully is very enjoyable and it only gets progressively more interesting, and consciously evades generalizations as best as a general history book can. Hopefully one day I can finish such lengthy books in at most a week!
