I'm ready for this to be over...

I give up. Life is too short to waste in garbage.

The main story has come to a dead stop so that one of the characters can spend a few hundred pages reading some historical letters. I am sure this history is important, but I can't help but think that there is a better way to go about it than a massive exposition dump that brings everything to a screeching halt. At least we finally get a tiny bit of actual witchery, though.

This book is sloooooooooow and there is hardly anything remotely witchy at all. So far it just seems to be about two people with psychic powers.

Only on page 85, but this book is crushingly boring so far. I want to quit it so bad...
