this whole concept/setup is a little too goofy/out there for me at this stage of my life, but i enjoyed this author’s last book so much and i’m enjoying certain parts of this one as well so i’m going to keep the faith and keep pushing

i think i was enjoying this back when i started reading it last fall, but this time all i’m getting is that the main character is extremely negative and nihilistic and has such low opinions of everyone around her and it’s really bumming me out to read :( hopefully some change & growth starts happening quickly..
