With every book by Rebecca Solnit I read, I like her writing more. This was a very intruiguing and concentrated read full of collected research and specifically interesting passages about Native American Peoples and their fight for justice that I really thought were well put and served the text well. Love this perspective on the world, I wish there were more and louder voices spreading it.

I am very entertained (I didn‘t expect pulitzer prize level writing and it certainly isn‘t), and the progatonists voice is very thought through and sounds the same thgoughout. But at this point I don‘t know how much deeper the story can go, or if there will just be a shocking revelation at the end. Let‘s see :)

langsam zieht es sich

so viel Kitsch! und schwülstige Passagen, ich lese trotzdem weiter. Bei den Passagen über das Liebespaar hätte er viiiel weniger dick auftragen können, das wäre viel glaubwürdiger gewesen.

bin bereit für viel Plot! Let’s go :)

Dieses Buch hat mein Herz und der Protagonist ist so vielschichtig und plastisch und die Sprache ganz ganz klug.
