Probably not a book I should have picked to read at a cafe because I’m pulling some really weird faces

This is one of those romances where the reasons for the characters not getting together feel just a little too silly

Listening to sex scenes on audio makes me want to throw up and these ones are particularly bad 😭😭😭 God please set me free

Their whole situation is so fucked up. They’re roommates, now a secret couple, and Charlie’s ex-wife is living with them. She doesn’t know about their relationship and they’re continuing to have sex in the room that adjoins hers while she’s home!! What!!!!!

I think this man’s PR agent is sleeping with his soon-to-be-ex wife. The divorce papers are still warm from the printer like hello 😭😭😭😭

I swear to God Ned had black or brown hair and not blond. If I’m wrong about this, I swear my entire life is a lie

So far, things that piss me off about this book:
- the description of Frederick’s suits being regency era/“on his way to meet Jane Austen” seems to be strongly in contrast with the way the actual clothes are described
- Frederick being a weird misogynist (highly realistic but unpleasant for a lighthearted romance)
- the fact that it’s a romance at all. There’s no romantic chemistry!

Plugging away at this long, dense dense dense book. So close!

Current theory is that the brother set up a fake kidnapping along w his sister in order to convince Greta to stay in the states. They’re also the ones responsible for threatening Donna in order to secure the win for Greta

You don’t deserve to read this book unless you’re a fully committed and obsessed Supernatural fan like myself

Will I ever read anything but Austen? Doubtful
