A lot of " poop jokes to help understand the use of structure in joke writing" in this bit. It works, but it's a ton of poop.
My fave point made is about truth and comedy. The old adage of "Its funny because it's true" is not an accurate understanding of why a joke is funny, rather "it's funny because its structured" should be considered. Laughter isn't proof of accuracy.

It's pretty amazing to understand your own creative process in such a way that it could be written out in a book... There's not only an analytical approach but also vulnerability to it. Just something I was thinking about as I read.

Some of the dialogue in 12 is really robotic feeling. Specifically from the Geronimics people... Maybe its a clue or something... But felt strange

Am I going to tear up a little at a scene where a teen tells his father he's suicidal because his mother told him she loves him "even though" he's queer? Maybe 😢

Ch7: Brock starts talking very fancifully out of character without pointing it out and i was both confused and enjoyed it. He normally has a large vocabulary but he's speech pattern changes here.

Not bad... Just left me thinking..."huh...?"
I think maybe he was just trying to match the guy he was talking with?? Idk
