Gaby is 57% done with The Story of a New Name (Neapolitan Novels, #2)

I’m struggling to understand the appeal of this book. I honestly can’t stand any of these characters. They’re just bitter, angry, aggressive, and violent people. In the first book, I mildly found Lila interesting/likable while Lenu would alternate between jealous/placating. It’s more of the same, except now Lila is terrible and unsympathetic. Going to skim this trifle. Would not recommend.

Gaby is on page 509 of 1060 of A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, #4)

The author is so long-winded. The story itself interests me, but I don't know that I can continue scanning the pages for something interesting. It might be time to give up and watch the TV series...
