"Herman Wouk is Still Alive" felt very real, more like a "literary" kind of tale. Good, though. Tragic in a "happens somewhere every day of the week" sort of way.

I think "Morality" might be my favourite story in the book so far. I found parts of it laugh-out-loud funny, in a wicked sort of way. It's the one I would tell other people about (especially non-readers) because the concept and predicament is so universally relatable. I think it's one of the stories that SHOULDN'T be adapted, though - it would only cheapen the effect of the story.

for "The Bone Church" and "Tommy" - I'm not into poetry, so I can't really judge - other than to say "meh!... Did they really need to be included?")

"A Death" is just a good old fashioned story that genuinely surprised me. "Premium Harmony" is kinda darkly funny, and "Under the Weather" is quite bleak, and both seem to rely on the strength of their punchlines. "Mile 81" feels like classic King, in a way - needs to be adapted into a movie.

Loved "Obits" and "That Bus is Another World", both are very memorable and RE-readable. "The Dune" was a bit predictable (felt like a rehashed concept) and probably the only turkey I've read in this collection so far...
