RTC - This story was wonderful. I loved it from the first sentence and gushed about it the next day at work. The character, Meilin, is just incredible in her resiliency and ability to pick herself up again and again and again.

I'm struggling with this one. I'm not sure I'm connecting with the main character or story yet.

Just 29 more hours to go on the audio book.

Listening to this on audio. It's 32 hrs long, so this may take a while...

I like it so far, but I'm not sure I'm emotionally invested yet in any of the characters, except for perhaps Corban. Perhaps it is because I don't quite see where the story is taking each of the other characters yet or perhaps I just like Corban's underdog feeling story.

Well, this is turning out to be a pretty good read. I love the premise.

Review to come. Now that I've finished I can see why this is getting such good reviews. This is just the type of spooky/scary story with lots of mystery that I would have loved to read when I was a kid.

Gosh. I just started this and can't believe how swept up into the story I am. As a reader, I am enchanted by where it takes me.

I almost DNF'd this one at 30%. I'm so very glad I didn't because it very shortly after turned into a book I can't put down.

I'll be honest - I got the book when it first came out, but the reviews I saw were more on the negative side so I never picked it up. Now that the 2nd book in the series is coming out I thought I'd give it a try. Perhaps it is because I'm only a little ways in or because my initial expectations were lowered, but either way I'm finding I'm rather enjoying this story.

I'm learning a lot about collecting voter data - how it works, what's included. Interesting info.

I started this in March and really enjoyed what I've read so far. But...it is about a new, unknown virus. Even though the virus in the book is absolutely nothing like what is currently going on, it got to a point where the real world and my reading hobby were crossing paths a little too much. So I had to put it down for a bit.

Now that some time has past and I've cut down on the news I'm ready to dive back in.

I am loving this book and Chad Zunker can now add me as a definite fan of this series. Another book that swept me up in the story and where I ended up staying up way later that I had intended.

Listening to this one on audio book for when I do chores or am driving. I can't believe I only recently learned of this one. It's been quite a fun book to listen to so far.

Really excellent world-building. So good, I'm finding I have to slow down my reading pace to absorb it all.

Very rich world building in this sci fi story. So rich that it takes a bit of time to understand everything and how the world works.

There's something about military sci fi books that are just perfect. Listening on audio to battles set out in space fighting against/for other planets and aliens is just plain old fun.

Unfortunately, I had to put this one for a bit, but not because always wasn't enjoying it. I'm glad to be able to pick it back up again.
