I'll be honest - I got the book when it first came out, but the reviews I saw were more on the negative side so I never picked it up. Now that the 2nd book in the series is coming out I thought I'd give it a try. Perhaps it is because I'm only a little ways in or because my initial expectations were lowered, but either way I'm finding I'm rather enjoying this story.
