Had to switch to an ebook bc I couldn't handle Laia's narrator anymore. Steve West, forgive me 😭

Y'all...this series feels really inconsistent to me. The closeness I felt to these characters last book has just evaporated from book to book, and it feels like the plot is just Things Happening. I do think part of it is the audiobook format, especially for Laia, who sounds close to tears at any given moment. These characters are now in places (literally and figuratively) that I just don't care about anymore

Sometimes you just want to have fun and read empty calories!!!!
