I knew of Medger and Myrlie Evers but wanted to know more of their story and history. This book share their love story during one of the most intense times in US history. I got angry; I cried; and I laughed. Ultimately I as an African American woman was proud of he work done for the rights I have today. The book also helped me to see there is more work to be done.
