So, this is not edited well. In Tanya Huff's story (the first one in the antho!) Gyhard's name is misspelled several times and Evicka's name is jammed up at least once. Also, it doesn't make a lick of sense to me, who has never read any of the Quarters series.

Railroad apartments aren't "lined up like in a railroad car with a hallway connecting them". There isn't a hallway! The rooms lead directly into each other, with no separation besides a door (if you're lucky) or a doorway (if you aren't). Otherwise, I am enjoying this romp around NYC. It's not set exclusively in Manhattan, which is super cool.
