I don't want the book to end.

It's okay... I'm not really invested in the couple right now.

I am not familiar with the lore of Hekate. I'm having fun finding out. The writing style in this book is very different - and I find it interesting.

I'm embarrassed by the title and the cover. But I couldn't sleep after waking up at 3 AM and needed a distraction. And now I'm 61% done. It's a good story more lust and rude than romance. Steamy but good

Almost at the end now. Final nine chapters to go.

Things have picked up pace as the plot lines are now reaping what they sowed all this time. I'm excited to finish the story and see them all to their conclusion. Alas... Duty calls. I have work to finish before I can read further.

Finally crossed the manhwa and I see the different path it has taken. I'm happy and sad by the changes but it gives me an opportunity to experience these two parallel stories at the same time. I can appreciate that.

Two chapters in and I see loads of setup for "book 2". I believe I'll catch up to manhwa by end of this one.

I have forgotten the Shadowhunters universe (though a few specific moments linger in the recesses of memory). Thus, it is a joy to dive deep into this world once again with Tessa, Will, and the rest of the cast. The curiosity is strong as with Tessa, I delve into the depths of the fantastical nature of the Shadowhunter world and I am enjoying the way the threads weave - I have a growing list of questions to answer.

I've run into a problem of sorts as I update my status here on Goodreads. I'm 83% through of book 1 and there's no big conflict ongoing right now in the story. There's been a time skip and the board is being established right now. Which, as any fiction reader would recognize, is the best time for a big crisis to strike and lead everyone to book 2.

I am surprised by the events I don't recall. I am surprised by the events presented much differently than how I recall them. I'm pleased by these surprises so far.

It's like walking through streets you once knew. I recognize the characters but I don't recall these events. Perhaps a re-read of the comic volumes is also due?

Reached chapter 21. Reading this after having read the comic way back means I find all things new and unfamiliar. I'm planning to finish the entire series (174 chapters) this weekend.

Finally picked it up again. Finding it a little difficult to focus on this one.

I just read the first letter. Where do I get such a person for myself? I was so relating to Bri and then the letter just hit. Like, like... I don't have words for it.

Pausing this. I'm going to do Part of Your World first and go in sequence.
