Sorry - This novel FAILS.
I did NOT enjoy this fantasy but forced myself to read the complete volume.

I cannot, in all honesty, give this one a recommendation.

Just finished Sea of Shadows, book 1.
In a word, TREMENDOUS!

Mr Edwards story telling just gets better and better in the area of Navy related adventures.
