This book is so entertaining!

Partnering up two people who hate each other does make things interesting.

Finally had some good developments around chapter 7 to keep me reading. This world is perplexing so far though. Multiplanetary people that use necromancy and swords to fight?

Such a slow, uninteresting start. 6 chapters in and I don’t really care for any character or the undead ninth house.

Referring to government grants: “governments are bad at picking winners, but losers are good at picking governments.” Welfare entrepreneurs are people that develop the best presentations to attract government officials but have crap products. They tie up economic resources that are in demand. Damn these moochers and the gullible fools in government!

Don’t know why but this book is taking a while to reel me in. Strange since it should be right down my alley. It’s looking like it’s about to pick up the pace though.

Going to be really annoyed if the character the lead let’s go wandering off comes back to be a major pain in the booty!! That’s a subpar, boring move there Stephen if it develops that way... and until that unnecessary speed-bump the book had drawn me in pretty well.

Man, gonna have to drop this one as the relationship between the main character and his robot is distracting from the main plot… it’s too bad.

For a book that talks a lot about pilots, we don’t get really any of “some of that pilot shit.” So a little disappointed but the story is fine so far. I have expectations of seeing “some of that pilot shit” eventually though.

Should have realized from the title this book contains the previous 2 stories too… oh well. At least they’re short.
