I'm getting real tired of Kingfisher saying calling Searis either "little osha", "ohsa", or Searis EVERY. OTHER. SENTENCE. This writing is terrible. It reminds me of 50 shades of Grey.... mind yourself Mr Grey no mind Yourself whatever your other characters name is.... lazy. Lazy writing.

Do you like battle scenes? Then this is the book for you i guess....

Good twist. Quick page turner.

This is a duology that could have been one book. The story and tale itself is good. Full of intrigued. But all the answers are in the second book I'm sure. And it leaves on a blatant cliffhanger with almost nothing answered. There wasn't enough plot in book 1 for it to extend to a book 2.

Cannot resist a Holly Gibney story

Really enjoy this author. High fantasy. Low stakes. Good story. This book sparks joy.
