Starting off a little too heavy on the “I’m a monster you can’t love me” trope…. Hopefully that’s not a big part of the book for real….

I don't understand... she thinks she hit a dog, but she didn't get out to make sure? didnt make sure it wasn't there and still suffering? just meh

I think both character's thinking its the best sex theyve ever had after the first time isn't really that realistic.

PLOT hole.... Lena's been living there nearly a year and had not duped Maggie into anything... and yet Jess is going to root out the scam? *insert eye roll here*

I find the logic too be flawed. She thinks James is a Nazi spy relayings secrets... but would still help her get a jew to freedom? seems really illogical to me.

The death of the husband would have had more of an impact if we actually knew who he was.... instead of a really important gut punch, the hit of it is lessened because he's this unknown person.

almost half way throught the book and nothing has happened? No real antagonists just the vague shape of Nazis' in the background..... so far not too impressed

Not a huge fan of ‘Younger than Yesterday’. But the rest is good so far.
