I feel like this is a play by play description. (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Finally meeting Kolis. Hopefully she stabs him. Getting fed up with Nyktos/Ash. He probably has some valid reason/excuse blah blah blah but I don’t want to hear it. Sera needs to start doing things her way, forget the man for a little bit and solve the problem you originally set out to fix.

CLEARLY YOU ARE THE PRIMAL OF LIFE STOP DENYING THAT AND CHASING THIS DUMBASS PLAN AND JUST OWN IT ALREADY

Ash is starting to feel sketchy to me because he’s really gunning after this plan that *he’s* to obtain the embers so he’ll be Life AND Death. Bro y’all are supposed to be King and Queen of that, not just the dude as king. Duh.

I don’t like their plan. The true outcome that they’re actively steering away from feels obvious. They’re just stubborn. Specifically Ash. It’s like a waiting game wondering how many sidequest hoops are they going to jump through before doing what was obviously the first and correct choice. I can’t elaborate more without spoilers, but you get the idea.

I know they’re based in Colorado, but why do they all have southern accents? One more “honey” or “sugar” and I’m losing it.

Listen, there wasn’t a wait time on Libby for me to read this, and my other books haven’t come through yet. Do I think this is incredibly cheesy? Yes. Am I judging the book by its cover? Yes, and you should too. Am I still reading it because I want something a little brain numbing? Yes.

Will I forget this book upon setting it down? Also yes.

Timely. Listening to the audiobook and hoping for words of wisdom. I’ve never been a self-help book person, so we shall see after this.
