Being bound for life against her will and all she does is take an angry walk? She tells them she wants to go home and they make it clear she can’t and is a prisoner? And she’s still playing nice?

I’m losing patience with her.

So far I’m not enjoying this. Nothing is wrong with the book per say, but I hate when our female main characters act weak for no real reason. Now if they were hurt or injured or abused I can understand, but so far Issa is just un-relatable for me. So she feels safe around the guys and attracted to them, I get that. Still she was kidnapped.

I just finished Iniquity (The Premonition Series Book 5) and gave it 5 stars.

I just finished Alien Alpha: (Qetesh Warrior) An Alien SciFi Romance and gave it 4 stars. Surprisingly good.

I just finished Pleasure Planet and gave it 3 stars. Not a bad series of short stories, although the I liked some better than others.

I officially give up. Probably would have been a good story if I'd been able to relate at all to Lyzette. But... I found her immature, vapid, dull, and completely unrealistic. If I could I would plaster caution stickers on this book.

And I've had almost all I can take of the witless main character. That's a bad sign.

I just finished Aedian: Alien Warrior: A Sci-Fi Alien Invasion Paranormal Romance.

What to say? I'm having a hard time getting into the story. I like Riley. I'm feeling drawn to her life and story, her overwhelming sadness over her loss of her twin. But so far shes the only character I'm enjoying. If her grandmother understands about losing a twin why isn't she more understanding? They obviously know the shifter thing is shocking to her. Why are they enjoying her shock when shes so confused/afraid?

Not sure I like the feel of Eden. It feels... dark, gritting, and slimy but hidden under glitz and glamor. Really am not liking 'Vicky'. She is far FAR less enjoyable than was Hank. At least I liked him in the beginning. Even if he did turn out to be a putz.

Awesome book

not as much military in this book as the last, but we get to see her wave about some of that Longknife political power. She is by no means a weak character. I'm not sure I like the development between Kris and Tom in this book. In book 1 they were friends, but it seems book 2 that she wanted more. She never acted on it, but she had the chance in book 1. Is Jack involved with Abby? Or will he get involved with Kris?
