Hoping to eventually finish Interview with the Vampire at some point although it hasn’t been super exciting lately. One thing that shocks me is: Anne Rice’s birth name was Howard Frances Allen O’Brien. It’s awful her father chose to give the name Howard to a female 😭

I probably don’t remember everything about everyone after my break. Whatever.

Finally re-starting…after 10 years 😭 I can’t remember if I actually read some of the poetic translation. Sadly have to make do with this prose one because I don’t feel like spending 200$ on a book that is short and could potentially be very damaged due to age o_O

There is no crying to be had in the Leoncio Prado.

Realize I have three copies of The Moonstone and I only read the book once but I can’t really decide which two copies to get rid of. One hardcover copy and the others are paperback. Both of the paperbacks(tho one especially) is a bit damaged/ratchet. I’m not crazy about hardcovers. Tho..

I mean, being a kid/teenager wasn’t super great. But being there would be awful. Being a kid/teenager in the 1950’s/1960’s in general sounds like it would have been rough.
