Only a lunatic would write this book

If there is no yeti in this book, I will be disappointed.

If there is no abominable snowman in this book, I will be disappointed.

I like that this is a ghost story from a Navajo woman’s perspective and the idea of a murder mystery with a supernatural twist. But this detective doesn’t seem to have any urgency to solve crimes

I originally liked the references, but this books seems to be all references no story. Reference are great, but it this case it seems like a crutch for a writer who isn’t confident enough in their own writing.

At least I can appreciate the deeper allusions compared to Ready Player One.

The Willows and The Wendigo are excellent. Ancient Sorceries was good too, I’m afraid I lost interest with his shorter stories
