I really wish this book wasn't bad. The rhetoric and methodology is pretty solid, it's just written in a really odd way. Maybe McVeigh just isn't that interesting as a person?

I take back every bad thing I've ever said about continental philosophy. This writing style is enrapturing and should be read like fine prose. It's like if Anti-Oedipus was comprehensible.
