I’ve heard nothing but good about this series but I’m really struggling here.

I’m having trouble getting into this installment. It doesn’t seem to have the same charm. And Persi... she’s not for Lennox.

I’m enjoying this immensely but for some reason the editor and author don’t like the word “to”. It’s been left out. A lot.

First line in and it's like this author gets me:

"It is an impossibly great trial to be married to a man one loves and hates in equal proportions."

Any book that’s starts off with the dedication mentioning Miss Fisher and H. Poirot ... ❤️❤️❤️

Seriously. I'm having a difficult time deciding how I feel about this book.

Kit needs to forget about somebody killing his editor because someone really needs to kill his agent.
