A really short book, but very long poem. Other reviewers talk a lot about the 4th book/ part of the Georgics.
Virgil is one of the greatest classical and Latin poets. This is a long poem about farming and agriculture. It’s rhythmic and paints beautiful pictures, but I get lost easily and at times am not sure what I’m now reading or what I just read.
