Ivy is extremely annoyed! And it’s mostly because she is so incredibly immature and self-centered. Yes, she cares about others and those others, but her immaturity causes her to do stupid and ridiculous things that puts others in danger.

To be a billionaire who has conducted board meetings, operated in professional society, events, and likely rough elbows with politicians he is uncharacteristically terrible at navigating the royal scene. This actually should be a much easier transition than this book has depicted. Like it really doesn’t match in any shape form or fashion.

This whole concept that arrange marriages aren’t real marriages is Ludacris. This whole culture around dating and choosing someone to marry hasn’t been around that long. Arrange marriages go back many many millennia. Far more real and normal than modern day. Storytellers will give credit to.

Julius surrounded by people who practice witchcraft and manipulation. Alicia. Kyle. Sierra. Lydia. All of these people are witches and warlocks. And sadly, the only person that’s not doing witchcraft on her is Grant and he’s the one that suffering the most. Though he is still a coward.

The communication trope in this book series is the worst that I’ve ever experienced. I can’t tell you how many times I have facepalm myself over the MMC and FMC lack of communication. This is absolutely wild and definitely give soap opera vibes. Things really could be so simple. Kyle is such a weirdo!

We are back to sloppy riding with this one. Why is there a mistletoe at a wedding the day after Thanksgiving? I don’t care we’re in the world you are this don’t make no bit of sense.

I’m in chapter 8 almost a chapter 9, and there are so many plot holes that is not even funny! Definitely in need of developmental editing. The bones of the story is good. The plot is good, but there’s so many holes gaps misunderstandings and just simply poor storage structure. Quickly moving down to a three star read.

I love supporting and reading works by Christian authors. But this book seriously needs copy editing, line editing, and proofreading. The main character is named Amy, but there are whole chapters where her name is.Any.

This is the Christian magic treehouse book series! I’m so excited to be reading this tale, but I also have some points of constructive criticism to grow this book series. Praying that the author connects with a bomb Christian developmental editor as they continue this series!

This story has so many plot holes! And because it’s a series the plot holes go across the books. For example, what is the age difference between these people? When did the dad have another kid? How did she find out about him? And if the dad knew about him, why did he leave him in foster care? Maybe some of these will be answered if I finish the book but I’m just like please fill these holes!

The timelines and storylines of these books from one book to another is so disjointed. How did Mia go from being a redhead who Ross and Kenley nicknamed “red” to a woman with black hair? how is Kenley when she was subscribed as an elementary school kid? Way more than three years have passed in the storyline and things are so disconnected. I found myself really not enjoying this author.

Layla is hard headed and disobedient. Girl! Learn to trust somebody! Getting folks in trouble

This book is full of false advertising! It’s supposed to be clean wholesome. These folks is not clean. They custom. And the only reason they haven’t had sex is because they keep getting interrupted. The only reason I’m still reading this is because it has not been explicitly sexual as of yet. But I’m about ready to throw this whole series and author in the trashcan.
